“Robert, ascolta il rumore di un treno che passa, il ticchettio della pioggia sulla finestra, le voci di bambini che corrono... ecco adesso prova a raccontare quei suoni con il tuo pianoforte...” Con questo gioco che mi faceva fare mia madre ho cominciato a suonare.
Melodia è uno spettacolo-interattivo dedicato ad uno dei più celebrati compositori di operetta e valzer, Robert Stolz. La compagnia TPO insieme al children museum Frida&Fred di Graz hanno voluto ricostruire la sua lunga vita (1880/1975), la sua stanza d'infanzia, i suoi primi passi nel mondo della musica, i successi in Europa e in in America. Il suo viaggio durerà per tutta una vita senza mai smettere di suonare, dirigere orchestre, comporre musica per film. Per tutti Robert è il re del valzer della musica popolare della musica dei cabaret, dei teatri e del circo. Ma nel suo cuore rimarrà sempre il bambino che guarda il mondo e trasforma in musica ciò che sente nel cuore.

Melody is an interactive show dedicated to one of the most celebrated composers of operetta and waltzes, Robert Stolz. The TPO company together with the children's museum Frida&Fred in Graz wanted to reconstruct his long life (1880/1975), his childhood room, his first steps in the world of music, his successes in Europe and in America. His journey would last a lifetime without ever stopping playing, conducting orchestras, composing music for films. To everyone Robert is the waltz king of popular music of cabarets, theaters and circuses. But in his heart he will always remain the child who looks at the world and turns what he feels in his heart into music.
