Fabian Negrin, autore e illustratore argentino, reinterpreta la fiaba di Cappuccetto Rosso trasformandola in una delicata storia d’amore.
Contesto, azioni e personaggi (il lupo, cappuccetto rosso, la nonna) rimangono gli stessi ma l'azione drammatica acquista un significato diverso.
Dalle tavole illustrate di Negrin prende vita un personaggio femminile consapevole della propria identità e capace di impersonare un punto di vista forte che mette in discussione la figura del lupo nel suo aspetto tradizionalmente “malvagio”, alla quale siamo stati abituati leggendo la fiaba classica.
Sia Cappuccetto Rosso che il Lupo interpretano due mondi “classici”, la pubertà e l’universo maschile, due mondi che si respingono e si attraggono al tempo stesso e che chiedono una rivincita rispetto allo stereotipo della storia narrata.
La bellezza e la curiosità di lei, la forza e l’agilità di lui, si incontrano in un contesto nel quale ciascuno dei due assume una nuova immagine legata a due diverse sensibilità e che l’occhio attento del pittore-illustratore riesce ad esaltare.
I due personaggi rivivono i passaggi obbligati della fiaba come in un gioco di quadri animati dove colori, musica, superfici specchianti e immagini interattive fanno da sfondo ad una perfetta storia di un amore impossibile.

Fabian Negrin, an Argentinian author and illustrator, reinterprets the story of Little Red Riding Hood, transforming it into a tender love story.
The setting, plot and characters are still the same (the wolf, Little Red Riding Hood, the grandmother), but the dramatic action acquires a different meaning.
Negrin’s illustrations show us a female character fully aware of her own identity and capable of maintaining a strong point of view which raises doubts about the figure of the wolf, and his “Badness” as depicted in tradition and as we have been accustomed to reading Perrault’s celebrated fable.
Little Red Riding Hood and the Wolf impersonate two “classic” worlds, those of puberty and of masculinity, two worlds which simultaneously repel and attract each other and which call for second thoughts about the stereotype of the story as told.
Her beauty and curiosity, his strength and agility, clash in a contest in which each acquires a new image due to their being two such diverse ways of feeling, which the alert eye of the painter-illustrator succeeds in revealing.
The two characters re-enact the essential passages of the story in an interplay of animated frames in which colours, music, reflecting surfaces and interactive images form a background to a perfect story of an impossible love affair.
The show is for groups of 80 children from 4 to 8 years old
